SUMATERATODAY.COM– Samsung is gearing up for a major upgrade in its flagship lineup with the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, expected to become the first Samsung phone to exceed 45W wired charging. To support this leap, the company has quietly rolled out a brand-new accessory: the Samsung 60W Power Adapter.
The charger, carrying the model number EP-T6010NBEGWW, has already surfaced on multiple Samsung websites across Europe — including Austria, Sweden, and Romania — as well as regions in South America and the Middle East. Its broad appearance suggests a global launch is underway.
More Power, One Port, and Broad Compatibility
Samsung’s new 60W charger features a single USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0. Despite offering higher output, the adapter maintains a very low standby power consumption of just 5mW.
The supported charging standards include:
-
USB Power Delivery (5V, 15V, 20V)
-
PPS (5V–20V up to 3A)
Notably, the charger does not include AVS support.
This marks a considerable jump from Samsung’s existing 45W charger (model EP-T4511), which maxed out at 3A for 15V and 2.25A for 20V — a hard limit of 45W. With a 60W ceiling, the new adapter offers more flexibility and prepares the ecosystem for devices with higher charging requirements.
Designed for Phones, Tablets, and Even Galaxy Book Laptops
Samsung promotes the 60W adapter as a versatile charger suitable for Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and even Galaxy Book laptops. While no current Galaxy tablet goes beyond 45W charging, this release hints that the rumored Galaxy Tab S12 lineup may raise the bar.
Meanwhile, Galaxy Book laptops already support 65W charging, meaning the new 60W adapter can serve as a more compact alternative for laptop users.
Built With Safety and Efficiency in Mind
